EUCLID, Ohio (WOIO) - Dozens of residents at Gateway Apartments have been forced to climb two flights of stairs for weeks after both elevators in the complex broke down.
“This is bad, it’s bad that’s all I can say,” said one resident.
A tenant, who asked to remain off-camera, claims the freight elevator first went out three months ago.
Four weeks ago, the only other working elevator broke, leaving residents with no alternative but the stairs.
The apartment complex, located just off Interstate 90, has warning signs blocking off the elevators when visitors first walk in.
