The Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum has made many changes in the past year. One of those is the pledge to bridge community gaps through philanthropic efforts, according to a release.
This holiday season, the museum spearheaded community food drives to benefit the Superstition Community Food Bank and recently donated the entirety of Charlie’s Gift Shop to Salvation Army of Apache Junction holiday efforts.
“Community partnership support is vital throughout the year.” Barbara Atkinson, vice president of the Superstition Mountain Historical Society, said in the release. “However, during the holiday season, it is especially important to share our blessings.”
