HARRISBURG, Ill. (KFVS) - A holiday concert event in Harrisburg will help raise funds for local nonprofits.

The Christmas Jubilee is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 5 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

Both shows will take place in the auditorium of Little Chapel Church, located at 3859 State Highway 34 North in Harrisburg.

The concerts will feature choral performances of classic carols and modern holiday hits.

Southeastern Illinois College Community Chorus will perform, directed by Tim Green and accompanied by Kathy Hanrahan.

Dickens carolers, historical reenactors with the El Dorado County Historical Society & Fountain and Tallman Museum, will also join in.

Tickets are $15, available online and at the door. Children ages 12 and younger get in free.
