ORANGEBURG, S.C. — A new joint venture between two automotive parts manufacturers will establish its first South Carolina operations in Orangeburg County, investing $120 million and creating up to 392 new jobs.
SODECIA, a global Tier 1 supplier based in Portugal with over 40 locations in Europe, North and South America, and Asia, is joining with AAPICO, a Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer based in Thailand with more than 30 years of industry experience, to become Sodecia Aapico JV, a critical parts supplier for South Motors in Blythewood.
