EDINBURGH/AMITY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), in partnership with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), has announced that a portion of Pisgah Road (County Road East 650S) over Sugar Creek has closed as of Monday, December 1, for erosion protection work in Johnson County.
The closure will take place on Pisgah Road between Edinburgh and Amity, approximately two miles north of Hospital Road, and is expected to be complete in mid-February, weather permitting.
This project is part of a contract awarded to Force Construction Company in April 2025.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All schedules are subject to change.
