INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police troopers are investigating after a man was shot in a reported road rage incident on the south side of Indianapolis.
Troopers responded to a report of a person shot on the ramp from westbound Interstate 465 to Mann Road just before midnight Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Police said the victim who was shot was driven to a local hospital for treatment, where his condition is "stable."
According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was shot after a road rage confrontation on the ramp. Police said the suspect drove away in a light-colored car.
The victim was in a white Chevrolet Equinox, with the gunshots damaging the passenger side.
