The fire service in Telford were called out to an outdoor blaze on Thursday - after a sofa caught fire on the side of the road.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the sofa was on the side of the road in Donnington Wood .

A fire crew was sent out at around 11.50am, a spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that the fire crew used a hosereel jet to put out the sofa fire.
