Barrington Police spoke with library officials about a man who was at the library on Monday, Nov. 24, and may have been consuming alcohol while there.
Police said the man was not causing a scene or troubling anyone else, but there was evidence that he had been drinking — there were empty beer cans and nip bottles in a trash can. The man denied drinking at the library.
Police said the library may request a no trespass order against the man if the situation persists. No one was charged.
