CADILLAC, MI -- A northern Michigan woman, with the help of her husband, is accused of murdering her 22-year-old daughter and cutting her unborn grandson from her daughter’s womb
“This is frankly evil personified,” Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey said during the couple’s arraignment on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Cadillac.
No motive was offered when 40-year-old Cortney Bartholomew and her 47-year-old husband, Bradly Alan Bartholomew, were each arraigned on eight counts, including first-degree premeditated murder, torture, unlawful imprisonment and assault with intent to cause miscarriage or stillbirth.
Cortney Bartholomew is Park’s biological mother, although Park and two siblings were raised by an adoptive mother.
