BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WNDU) - A building partially collapsed in Benton Harbor over the weekend beneath the weight of heavy, wet snow.
It happened Sunday afternoon.
The building was formerly known as Sheik’s Clothing at the corner of Empire and Broadway Avenue.
Benton Harbor deputy director of public safety, Brian Kazmierczak says the building has been roped off until it can be torn down.
Kazmierczak says the owner of the building had already paid the city to have the structure demolished.
