NEAR BUFFALO, Mo. (KY3) - The Missouri Division of Fire Safety identified an employee who died in a fire at a pyrotechnics company near Buffalo.

Investigators identified the victim as Chad Eaves.

Firefighters responded to a fire at the AM Pyrotechnics company near Buffalo on Wednesday, November 26, around 9:30 a.m. That is located on East 535th Road.

Investigators say the structure was mainly consumed and collapsed. Due to the extent of the fire and structural damage, no definitive determination could be made regarding the cause, and it was classified as undetermined. The structure was used for storage, so the company can still manufacture if it chooses to, and its state permit remains active.
