GREENUP, Ky. (WSAZ) - After months of turmoil inside of Greenup County Public Schools, the district is hoping their new interim superintendent will be the first step in the right direction.
Steven Hall, a former superintendent of Greenup County Schools, retired from his role 12 years ago.
But now, he’s back on the job.

“This morning, I’ve kind of hit the ground running,” Hall said.
Hall leaving retirement and stepping back into his former role came after the previous superintendent, Traysea Moresea, was demoted and several board members resigned.
The demotion and resignations stemmed from text messages that became public through the discovery process of a civil lawsuit.
