But there were factors that needed to be weighed in the joint sentencing submission from the Crown and defence for Dahlison Emile, 24, and Tyreese Brown-Austin, 24, who were released from custody Tuesday after serving the equivalent of four years and four months for their roles in the terrifying London Gold Buyers robbery on Jan. 5, 2023.
Both men had been jailed since their arrests almost three years ago after the violent robbery in the Highbury Avenue store that left business owner Daniel Loewith in hospital for months, clinging to life.
