Stephens College has purchased Nourish Cafe and Market, a popular downtown Columbia restaurant known for its organic, locally sourced menu, according to a news release.

The acquisition marks the first major move under President Shannon B. Lundeen and reflects the college’s growing focus on experiential learning and community innovation, according to the news release.

Located at 1201 E. Broadway Suite B, Nourish will continue to operate with its "existing mission and menu philosophy." The restaurant is known for meals free of gluten, soy, corn, refined sugar, preservatives and inflammatory oils.
