On his way to visit a memorial for 8-year-old Mora Gerety, a man cursed at a car that didn’t stop as he crossed Harrison Boulevard.
Just days before, on Nov. 11, Mora was hit and killed by a pickup truck while crossing at the Harrison Boulevard and West Ada Street intersection.
Before impact, both Mora and the truck were traveling west on Ada Street, a news release from the Boise Police Department said. At the time, 4:42 p.m., traffic on Harrison had been “backed up” according to BPD. Mora paused at the northeast corner of the intersection while the truck reportedly stopped at a stop sign before making a right turn to head northward. The collision then occurred when both Mora and the truck entered the intersect
