TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A Tucson man is facing several charges after a road-rage incident led to two school lockdowns in Pima County last week.

Arizona DPS said it started on Interstate 10 near Orange Grove on Nov. 24.

DPS said 35-year-old Tyler Addotta then got off the interstate and ran out of has at a coffee shop on Orange Grove and La Cholla. DPS said Addotta, of Tucson, was arrested by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department after walking away from the vehicle. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Addotta was charged with six counts of aggravated assault with a simulated weapon. Investigators believe he used a BB gun or threw rocks at another vehicle.

The PCSD said Donaldson Elementary and La Cima Middle School were placed on a short lockdown after the shots-fired call.
