In fact, the game will be the first primetime showdown played between the teams at Soldier Field in the last several years, and will mark the second time the teams will play in a span of less than two weeks.

The NFL announced Tuesday that the game between the Bears and Packers will be played on Saturday, December 20 at 7:20 p.m., with the contest airing nationally on Fox.

The league had announced prior to the season that the Bears and Packers would play a Saturday game before the Christmas holiday, but waited until this week to set the game time between the NFC North rivals.
