Korean audiences will soon get an opportunity to sniff out traitors.

Korean actor Cha Seung-won is hosting a local version of the global phenomenon from Luyworks Media and Something Special.

More than 30 territories have now commissioned local versions of The Traitors , which sees a group of faithfuls try and sniff out traitors in epic settings. They take part in challenges in the day and banish contestants at night, while traitors slowly murder faithfuls to try and get to the end of the game. The show has been a huge hit around the world including in its origin country of The Netherlands, the UK and the U.S. on Peacock.

Korea is a formats hub, which originated huge hits like The Masked Singer.
