The penultimate set of College Football Playoff rankings are here, and Alabama football moved up a spot

After a 27-20 win in the Iron Bowl on the road against Auburn , a game that cemented the Crimson Tide's place in the SEC championship against Georgia , Alabama football sits at No. 9 in the latest set of CFP rankings.

Alabama is ranked at No. 10 in both of the latest Coaches and Associated Press polls.

No. 9 Alabama will face No. 3 Georgia in the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday, Dec. 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT on ABC.
