HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- At least one person had died after a multi-vehicle crash in Huntington Beach on Tuesday.

According to the Huntington Beach Fire Department, the crash happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Golden West Street and Heil Avenue. Firefighters confirmed there was at least one death, and several other patients were transported to the hospital.

AIR7 flew over the scene, where it appeared that at least four vehicles were heavily damaged in the crash. Firefighters were seen placing a tarp over an electric vehicle that was flipped upside down. It appeared that vehicle landed at least 50 yards away from the initial crash site at the intersection.
