The Bruins will get a bit healthier for their game against the Detroit Red Wings.
Boston activated Viktor Arvidsson from injured reserve on Tuesday afternoon. The forward suffered a lower-body injury in November.
Coach Marco Sturm told reporters that Arvidsson was in the midst of his “best stretch” of hockey when he got hurt.
“Hopefully we can get him to be back to the way he played during that time,” he said . “But it’s definitely nice to have him back that’s for sure.”
Prior to his injury, Arvidsson had six goals and four assists.
“I felt like I created a lot of chances, worked hard, played great. It kind of came for me at that time,” Arvidsson said . “It was unfortunate that the injury happened. I think I’m just gonna try to get back to where I ended.
