MASON CITY, Iowa — The MacNider Art Museum is set to host its annual holiday festivities on Friday, December 12, and Saturday, December 13.

This two-day event offers free winter entertainment for both adults and children, supported by the MacNider and Dettmer families and First Citizens Power Savers.

Friday's activities kick off at 5 p.m. with "MacNider: Off the Clock," featuring local jazz pianist Sam Crosser. Attendees can enjoy traditional jazz and holiday tunes, alongside wine and festive hors d'oeuvres.

On Saturday, the Holiday Open House invites families from 1 to 4 p.m. Children can engage in various make-and-take activities, including crafting paper snowmen and foam square trees. A special guest appearance by Santa Claus offers a photo opportunity for children from 1 to 4 p.m.
