An e-bike rider has died and two pedestrians have been seriously injured following a crash in North Manchester tonight (Tuesday, December 2). The crash has taken place on Rochdale Road, Blackley .

The rider, confirmed by police as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pedestrians have both been taken to hospital and people are being urged to avoid the area.

A significant cordon remains in place on Rochdale Road tonight. Closures are also in place on Whitemoss Road and Lionbrow Road.
