TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man on a mobility scooter was injured in a crash in Sierra Vista on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
The Sierra Vista Police Department said it happened while the man was crossing Fry Boulevard at Moorman Avenue.
The man, who has not been identified, was airlifted to a Tucson hospital. The SVPD said the helicopter landed on Fry Boulevard.
It has been a particularly dangerous and deadly week on the road in southern Arizona.
On Nov. 25, a Sierra Vista man died in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 92 near Hereford.
On Nov. 26, two pedestrians were hit near Picture Rocks and Sandario roads in Pima County.
On Nov. 29, a motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash on White House Canyon Road near Green Valley.
