LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The first wrongful death lawsuits on behalf of those killed in the deadly UPS plane crash last month are expected to be filed Wednesday.
Fourteen people died and nearly two dozen others were injured in the crash just south of Louisville’s international airport on Nov. 4.
“When an engine detaches from a large cargo jet during takeoff, and the aircraft bursts into a fireball visible for miles, an entire community is affected,” Bradley Cosgrove, a partner at Clifford Law Offices in Chicago, said in a statement.
In a news release on Tuesday, Clifford Law Offices said its working with Sam Aguiar in Louisville to file two lawsuits Wednesday on behalf of families who lost loved ones in the crash.
