SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Gov. Gavin Newsom is leaving the state, again.
About two weeks after returning from a climate summit in Brazil, the governor's office said Tuesday that Newsom is scheduled to travel to New York.
The governor has a scheduled appearance at the New York Times DealBook Summit on Wednesday. Newsom is listed among the lineup of speakers on the summit's "Main Stage," which includes the leaders of several major companies, the president of Taiwan, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, actress and filmmaker Halle Berry, and the late conservative political activist Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika Kirk.
