The world is closer to World War 3 than ever before, an expert who was speaking anonymously to AOL hours after Russia's despotic president Vladimir Putin threatened to attack Europe has claimed.

The Russian leader made the threat ahead of the major meeting with the US special envoy that included Steve Witkoff yesterday. Putin said: "We are not planning to go to war with Europe, but if Europe wants to and starts, we are ready right now. They are on the side of war."
