GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A suspect with a lengthy criminal past was arrested in the random attack of an NYU student after it was allegedly caught on video.

James Rizzo, 45, was released from state prison in September after serving two years on a conviction for persistent sexual abuse.

Rizzo has 16 prior arrests. Documents revealed that he groped a 33-year-old woman on Greene Street, also in Greenwich Village, and then asked, "Oh, you want more?"

He was also charged with murder in 1997. The status of that case is unknown.

This most recent incident happened Monday morning in front of 735 Broadway.

The 20-year-old victim, who identified herself as Amelia Lewis, was walking down the street when police say Rizzo walked up behind her.
