A liberal judicial advocacy group announced a six-figure attack advertising campaign on television and digital platforms against U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., for supporting two of President Donald Trump’s judicial nominees who refused to say who won the 2020 presidential election.

Demand Justice first shared the new, 30-second ad critical of Hassan first with the New Hampshire Union Leader.

“A lifetime appointment to a judge loyal to Trump? Tell Maggie Hassan: Stop supporting Trump’s judges,” the ad concluded.

The commercial faulted Hassan for her votes in October to confirm Harold D. Mooty III and Bill Lewis Jr. to judgeships on U.S. District Courts in Alabama.
