Axel Rudakubana, the blade-obsessed teenager responsible for the killings of three schoolgirls at a Southport dance class, is bracing for his inaugural Christmas behind bars, confronting a minimum sentence of 52 years.

A former prisoner who did time alongside him revealed to The Sun that the attacker now confronts "hell" within the prison walls. The 18-year-old, who won't qualify for freedom until approaching 70, is anticipated to stay segregated at HMP Belmarsh for the duration of his sentence .
