KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Some patchy freezing fog is possible on the Cumberland Plateau and light snow across the Smokies. Elsewhere just a few morning clouds and temperatures in the 20s-low 30s.
WEDNESDAY: Clouds will gradually decrease, bringing in some welcomed sunshine with highs in the mid 40s. Winds will be variable at 5-10 mph.
THURSDAY: Clouds work back in with a sprinkle possible during the day, but a better chance for rain moves in late Thursday night. Highs in the mid to upper 40s. Lows will be in the 30s.
FRIDAY: Another round of showers or brief wintry mix returns. Timing and temperatures will be key with this next system.
WEEKEND: Mostly cloudy with a few showers Saturday or Sunday. Highs will be in the 40s. Lows will be in the 30s.
