JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Multiple people were detained Tuesday night after a man was fatally stabbed on Jacksonville's Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

JSO Sgt. Dishman said officers responded to the 4600 block of Wheeler Avenue around 7 p.m. in reference to the stabbing.

When they arrived, Dishman saidf they found the man, who was in his mid-30s, suffering from multiple stab wounds. According to Dishman, members of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.

"At this time, we do not know the circumstances of the incident or the relationships of those involved," Dishman said.
