More light snow possible this weekend

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - We have a little light snow in the forecast this morning and very cold temperatures coming up tonight and tomorrow. A cold front is making its way through the region this morning.

Snow has developed along that front and we will see some light snow showers and flurries during the morning, especially to the north of Madison. Behind the cold front, wind will shift to northwesterly and increase.

Temperatures will begin to fall during the afternoon hours, and they will plunge to below zero readings overnight. With 10 to 15 mph wind you can expect windchill near 20° below zero early tomorrow. Thursday has been declared a First Alert Day due to the very cold temp
