An Iowa judge will spend several days in jail after pleading guilty to her first drunk driving offense.

Adria Kester, then chief judge of Iowa's second judicial district, was arrested Nov. 4 after witnesses reported seeing her slumped over her steering wheel of a truck heading the wrong way on Highway 30 near Boone. According to court filings, Kester's vehicle drifted into a median and a bystander had to climb in through a back window to put it in park.
