Project in focus: Located in Janwada, Telangana, this 12,569-square-foot residence is surrounded by mango orchards to the north, coconut groves to the south and farmland to the east. The spatial layout follows a clear zoning strategy, dividing this four-bedroom house into three segments—public, semi-private and private—connected by a long corridor. The bedrooms are intimate, with a single-storey height, while the living areas are inclusive, with double-height volumes. The material palette is minimal and tactile, featuring concrete ceilings, grey marble in the common areas and polished sandstone in the bedrooms. A river-washed marble statement wall, illuminated by a narrow skylight, anchors the living area.
