DETROIT - The Detroit Lions will feature more Detroit icons as halftime performers of another nationally televised game .
Following the Jack White Thanksgiving game halftime show which featured Eminem, the Lions/Cowboys “ Thursday Night Football ” game will feature Motown greats, the Temptations .
The group, which has 37 top 40 hits with 15 songs reaching the top 10, will perform at halftime of the game at Ford Field on Thursday, December 4.
The Temptations were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. The halftime performance tomorrow night is not expected to be shown on TV.
The Lions are 7-5, in third place in the NFC North behind Green Bay (8-3-1) and Chicago (9-3). The Cowboys are 6-5-1 in second place in the NFC East and have won three games in a row.
