DULUTH — Parade? Check. Bentleyville? Check. Snow ... check! The holiday season is in full swing.
Walking into the Tinsel Tavern during Duluth Winter Village at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center might be as close as you can come this holiday season to knowing how Linus and Charlie Brown felt when they walked into a 1960s aluminum tree lot in "A Charlie Brown Christmas." As Linus said, "This really brings Christmas close to a person."
Duluthians clearly felt that way in 2024, when they packed the Tinsel Tavern to capacity. When the Winter Village returns on Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7, the Tinsel Tavern will be three times the size — kind of like the Grinch's heart.
