The prizes: The “Tourism Innovator of the Year” from the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario’s Awards of Excellence was awarded Oct. 29 at the Ontario Tourism Summit in Ottawa. Lacey Rigg of Timmins Tourism collected the award on behalf of Cedar Meadows owner Richard Lafleur. The “Industry Leader in Innovation Excellence” from the Northern Ontario Tourism Industry Leader Awards was awarded Nov. 26 at the Northern Ontario Tourism Summit in Thunder Bay.
