CENTRAL FALLS – The Central Falls Housing Authority has been busy with a string of improvements to its two housing sites, Forand Manor on Washington Street, and Wilfrid Manor on Hunt Street.

According to Executive Director Bridgett Duquette, upgrades include new flooring throughout residential units and common areas, as well as two new elevators at Forand and Wilfrid, and renovated laundry rooms at both sites.

Officials are working on renovating a second elevator at Forand, Duquette confirmed.

The $3.8 million elevator renovation project replaced outdated elevator systems with modern technology designed to improve daily life for seniors, families, and individuals with mobility challenges.
