VERNON, CT (WFSB) - A man was charged with reckless driving and other violations after state police said he fled a traffic stop in Vernon.
Troopers identified the driver as 22-year-old Erick Resto of East Hartford.
They said they tried to stop Resto on Talcottville Road in Vernon on July 18.
Resto was in a white Infiniti at the time, and was said to have endangered a number of other drivers as he fled at a high rate of speed.
An arrest warrant was served for Resto on Dec. 1.
In addition to reckless driving, Resto was charged with failure to display pates, engaging police in a pursuit, failure to keep right, illegal tint, and second-degree reckless endangerment.
He was released on a $10,000 bond and given a court date of Dec. 16 at Rockville Superior Court.
