LITCHFIELD, CT (WFSB) - Crews knocked down a house fire in Litchfield on Wednesday morning.
The Litchfield Fire Department said it, along with crews from Bantam and Torrington, responded to the fire on Baldwin Hill Road around 4:35 a.m.
They spotted the fire on the left side of the home’s exterior.
Firefighters said they were able to douse the flames, vent the house, and check for fire extension in walls and a chimney.
The scene cleared around 6 a.m.
There was no word on injuries or a cause.
