A Douglas County man, 51-year-old Glenn Allen Gearhart, is facing nearly 14 years in federal prison- plus 5 years of supervised release- on charges relating to fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution and illegal possession of firearms.

In a case investigated by the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), court records indicate that in October 2024, Gearhart crashed into a patrol car while fleeing from deputies. Tidings Context Detectives later reported seizing about 600 grams of fentanyl, 700 grams of meth and multiple guns from Gearhart’s residence – enough drugs for thousands of street level doses.
