LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - An investigation is ongoing after shooting on Lansing’s south side Tuesday night.

Lansing police officials tell News 10 officers were called to a hospital around 8:30 after a 53-year-old man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Authorities believe the shooting happened at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Edgewood, near Cedar Street. There was a heavy police presence in the area late Tuesday night.

News 10 crews at the scene saw multiple police vehicles in the complex’s parking lot.

LPD officials say no arrests have been made and no information about a possible suspect has been released. Investigators are working to determine the sequence of events.
