LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department is investigating after card skimmers were found on payment machines in three Family Dollar stores on Tuesday.

Police said surveillance video showed suspects distracting a Family Dollar employee and then installing the skimmer when their back was turned.

LPD said the card skimmers were found at the following Family Dollar locations:

2601 N. 11th Street

2400 ‘N’ Street

3205 S. 13th Street

LPD said they have since been removed but anyone who may have shopped at those locations recently is advised to check their accounts for any potential fraudulent charges or missing funds.
