MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University is launching a new partnership with the Virginia Community College System to expand higher education opportunities for students across Virginia, leaders announced Wednesday (Dec. 3) at the Mountainlair.

“Many students from Virginia have already found a place to call home with us at WVU and this partnership will encourage others to become Mountaineers,” WVU President Michael T. Benson said. “As West Virginia’s land-grant, R1, flagship university, we offer the kinds of experiences — inside and outside of classrooms — that can change lives for the better.”
