The early signing period for high school football opened Wednesday, Dec. 3, giving Wilmington-area athletes their first chance to officially lock in the next step of their academic and athletic careers.

Class of 2026 athletes in all other sports were eligible to sign beginning Nov. 12. The regular signing period for high school football is set to open Feb. 4, 2026. Dozens across the region have already put pen to paper, securing spots at programs around the country.

Signings will continue through the winter and spring as schools celebrate their athletes in different ways. Here is every Wilmington-area high-school athlete in the Class of 2026 who has signed or committed to play at the college level.
