OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - This weekend, a holiday tradition is making it’s way back to Steelhouse Omaha.
Joyful Noise is happening Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7.
Ananias Montague is the Minister of Music and Fine Arts at Salem Baptist Church.
“We’re going to give people just a vast variety of Christmas music, as well as some gospel classics,” Montague said.
The show is in its twelfth year and features a blend of gospel, pop and jazz holiday music. Montague said it’s a partnership between Salem Baptist Church and Omaha Performing Arts.
Over 100 performers will be featured in the show.
“We have over 50 choir members and include the band and the ensemble,” Montague said. “And we’re featuring a new unit within the Salem Church, our new young adult choir that we call Declaration.”
