PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Celebrate the holiday season with 6abc!

Join Rick Williams, Cecily Tynan and Alicia Vitarelli on December 4 at 7 p.m. on 6abc to celebrate the official lighting of the Visit Philadelphia Holiday Tree, powered by NRG.

The evening includes performances from superstar Ashanti, GRAMMY-winner Lalah Hathaway and Miss America Cassie Donegan.

The 60-foot concolor fir is draped with more than 6,000 multicolored lights, 100 meteor lights twinkling down the tree and the "North Star" atop the tree - a guiding light representing peace, hope, joy and prosperity for the city.
