The Bureau of Land Management Utah has issued an environmental assessment that includes potential parcels in Duchesne and Uintah Counties that may be offered for a competitive oil and gas lease sale. The public will have 30 days to review and comment on the environmental assessment. The BLM proposes to lease 58 parcels totaling over 71,500 acres on public lands. The BLM is offering a 30-day public comment period. The public scoping period ends on January 2nd at 4:30pm. Comments may be submitted by clicking on the “Participate Now” button in the left-hand menu on the ePlanning webpage at eplanning.blm.gov .
