A Uintah County Commission meeting was held on Tuesday and the following are a few highlights from the meeting: The Uintah County Commission formally accepted a 1.5-acre right-of-way grant from the Bureau of Land Management for the Ashley Gorge parking. This easement will allow the creation of an organized parking area that improves visitor safety, reduces congestion, and protects the surrounding landscape by encouraging designated parking. Also during the meeting, the Commission approved the continuation of the agreement with Springbuk LLC to provide analytics support for the County’s self-funded healthcare plan, helping track trends, manage costs, and support sustainable employee benefits at no cost to the County.
